So if you are tired of big, expensive cities and you need to unwind for a while, The Beach Hostel is a lively place to settle for a couple of days and to absorb the tranquility of the beach and the friendliness of the town.
The Flying Pig Beach Hostel is in the centre of the beach resort Noordwijk and only 50m from the beach.

*Please note that this hostel is 44km. (30miles) from Amsterdam center.

The main area in the Beach hostel is ?the Bar? this is where it all happens. The relaxed atmosphere created by our crazy staff is ideal to make new friends. You?re always welcome to join in for a home cooked dinner and with the music we play, everything but mainstream, parties are unavoidable. As a real Flying Pig, we also have a nice ?chill out deck? with comfortable rugs and pillows and a significant book collection for everybody to read and swap.

Noordwijk is centrally located in the Netherlands so if you are ready to explore a little bit more than only Amsterdam, The Flying Pig Beach Hostel will be the right spot for you.
We are close to Leiden (city with the most old architecture of Holland) Rotterdam (city with the most new architecture of Holland) den Haag, Haarlem, and Amsterdam

In case of a No-show, your credit card is charged for the 1st night of your stay, the rest of that booking will be cancelled.
Cancellations have to be made at least 24 hrs. before arriving.

Directions to Flying Pig Beach Hostel

Take our shuttle service from our hostels in the city centre.
For daytrippers the shuttle cost 3,00 euro one way.

The trip with the shuttle will take approximately 1 hour dependant on traffic.

Reserve the shuttle on time as the shuttle books up prtty fast.

You can also take a train from amsterdam or Schiphol Airport to leiden central station.Take bus 40 or 42 to noordwijk, stop at Vuurtorenplein. Face south and at 100m on your leftside you'll find the beach hostel. We are at number 208 on the Parallel Boulevard

The trip with public transport will take approximately 1.11 hours

By your own transport, take the A44 from Amsterdam to Den Haag or vica versa and take the exit nr 6 towards Noordwijk, follow the road straight ahead until you see the lighthouse, follow the road to the left.
Now you are on Parallel Boulevard we are at number 208.

The trip with own transport to and from Amsterdam city center is approximately 40 minutes dependant on traffic.
